Macquarie Photography Society (MPS) is a student-led group affiliated with Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. With an audience of 40,000+ students and 125,000+ in the local community, the society endeavours to provide members with memorable experiences and the technical knowledge to capture these through photography.

Everybody has a different story. At MPS, our philosophy is to provide each and every member with the resources to develop their skills, and the confidence to execute these every day.
While the name suggests photography, we think of our members as humans. Our events prioritise the ‘present’ experience – how you enjoy the day. Every member has a story to tell. Photography is simply the medium to deliver the narrative.
